Day 1
Chennai Arrival – Tiruttani – Back to Chennai +
100 Kms | ~2 hrs 30 min one way
On arrival at Chennai, our representative will meet you and start the drive to Tiruttani Murugan Temple, the fifth abode of Lord Murugan, set on a hilltop and believed to be where Lord Murugan accepted the spear from Goddess Parvati after vanquishing the demon Surapadman. Complete darshan and return to Chennai for overnight stay.

Day 2
Chennai – Kumbakonam (via Swamimalai) +
295 Kms | ~6 hrs 15 min
After breakfast and checkout, drive to Kumbakonam. En route, visit Swamimalai Murugan Temple, the fourth abode, where Lord Murugan is worshipped as Swaminatha — the divine teacher who instructed his own father Shiva in the meaning of the Pranava mantra "Om". Reach Kumbakonam, check in and if time permits visit local temples.

Day 3
Kumbakonam – Palani +
310 Kms | ~5 hrs
After breakfast and checkout, drive to Palani. Visit Palani Murugan Temple, the second abode perched on a hilltop in the Palani hills. This temple is famed for the miraculous idol of Lord Murugan made from Navapashanam (nine poisonous substances). Devotees may ascend by steps or use the ropeway / winch system. Complete darshan and check in for overnight stay.

Day 4
Palani – Tiruchendur +
300 Kms | ~5 hrs 30 min
After breakfast and checkout, drive to Tiruchendur on the southeastern coast. Visit Tiruchendur Murugan Temple, the third abode and the only one of the six situated directly on the seashore. Participate in the coastal beach prayers and witness the magnificent evening aarti with the sound of the sea as its backdrop — a truly unforgettable experience for every devotee.

Day 5
Tiruchendur – Madurai (Tiruparangundram) +
185 Kms | ~4 hrs
After breakfast and checkout, drive to Madurai. On arrival, check in and visit Tiruparangundram Murugan Temple, the first abode and one of the oldest rock-cut cave temples in India, carved directly into a granite hillside on the outskirts of Madurai. Evening at leisure.

Madurai – Palamudhircholai – Departure +
Outskirts of Madurai
After breakfast and checkout, visit Palamudhircholai Murugan Temple, the sixth and final abode, nestled amidst lush forested hills — the only one of the six situated within a natural forest setting. After completing the pilgrimage circuit, visit Meenakshi Amman Temple in Madurai city. You will then be assisted with your onward departure schedule.
