    Madurai Arrival – City Sightseeing +

    Arrival Day

    On arrival, you will be received by our representative and introduced to your driver. After hotel check-in, refresh and commence your Madurai city tour visiting the legendary Meenakshi Amman Temple with its soaring gopurams and vibrant evening aarti. Proceed to Tiruparangundram Murugan Temple and continue to the Gandhi Museum. Spend the evening leisurely at Theppakulam Mariamman Temple (Vandiyur Tank).

  • Day 2

    Madurai – Rameswaram +

    180 Kms | ~3 hrs

    After breakfast and checkout, drive to Rameswaram. En route, cross the spectacular Pamban Bridge, India's longest sea bridge. On arriving, visit the hauntingly beautiful ruins of Dhanushkodi, the abandoned town at the island's tip. In the evening, visit the sacred Ramanathaswamy Temple, one of the 12 Jyotirlinga shrines dedicated to Lord Shiva, with its famous 1,212-pillar corridor.

    Rameswaram – Kanyakumari +

    310 Kms | ~6 hrs

    After breakfast and checkout, visit Ramar Padham and the Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Memorial before proceeding to Kanyakumari, the land's end of India. Arrive in the late evening and witness the magnificent colours of the sunset over the sea — the only place in India where you can watch the sun set over the confluence of three seas.

  • Day 4

    Kanyakumari Sightseeing – Return to Madurai +

    250 Kms | ~3 hrs 45 min

    Rise early to witness the breathtaking sunrise at Kanyakumari Beach. After breakfast and checkout, take a ferry ride to Vivekananda Rock Memorial and the majestic Thiruvalluvar Statue standing in the sea. Visit the ancient Devi Temple and Tirupathi Kovil. Drive back to Madurai where you will be assisted with your onward departure.

Can we see both sunrise and sunset at Kanyakumari?

Yes. Sunset is best from Kanyakumari Beach or the ferry point. Sunrise is spectacular and the view from the Rock Memorial is unmissable — a ferry is needed in the morning.

Is the 22-theertham bath at Rameswaram included?

It is optional and based on personal belief. We can assist in arranging the ritual if requested in advance.
